Outside Sales Rep Needed (Midwest Region USA)

DVM Travel Source was created for one purpose: To make the animal import/export process faster and easier for Doctors of Veterinary Medicine.

We are looking for entry level Customer Service and Sales Reps to join our team to make calls Veterinary Hospitals & offer our subscription service.

This is a good old fashioned entry level Outside Sales Position - requiring a lot of time on the phone reaching out to potential customers (Doctors of Vet Medicine).

There is a one month "contractor" period to evaluate sell through performance.

Contractors role includes progressively manage and maintain contacts with established customers and source new business through prospecting new customers.
- This requires extensive periods of cold-calling new potential customers and soliciting their business.
- Forwarding emails from existing customers with service questions to the correct DVMTS employee for resolution.
- Managing ongoing relationships with customers and encouraging customer retention.

Contractor may engage in work away from company's place of business to promote and sell DVMTS products in compliance with all company pricing policies and instructions, to achieve maximum gross margin rate. This may include activities such as:
- Handle customer complaints promptly, effectively and report potential claims.
- Keep management informed of local competition and market conditions.
- Carry out sales and merchandise programs as directed and recommend new service offerings.
- Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
