Signostics was established in Australia in 2005 and expanded into the U.S. in 2008, dedicated to developing fast and affordable point-of-care medical devices. The company launched its first product into the veterinarian market in January 2009 and gained regulatory approvals to enter the human medical device market for the United States, Europe, and Australia in May 2009.
The Independent Sales Rep will own a territory and sell hand-held ultrasound products to physicians and group practices in a variety of specialties such as primary care and emergency medicine. We are seeking someone who is high energy, has a large Rolodex of physician contacts and wants to get in on the ground floor of a company that has an exciting trajectory. This is a dynamic role that will evolve and change over time, with enormous growth potential.
We may consider manufacturer’s representatives or agents selling other products as long as they do not compete directly with our company or technology.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Drive new business revenue growth by constant prospecting, networking, qualified lead generation, negotiating and closing sales with physicians and practices
• Collaborate with Marketing on customer needs and marketing campaigns and promotions
• Develop sales forecast with monthly and quarterly plan
Job Skills:
• Excellent sales skills with a demonstrated track record of selling to physicians – either medical products or pharmaceuticals
• Ability to act independently with sound business judgment
• Exceptional territory and time management skills
• Highest levels of integrity and professionalism
Required Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years sales with an extensive network of physician contacts (preferably in primary care or emergency medicine)
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and relationship management capabilities
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
• Previous experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry and/ or selling to physicians and hospitals
