OVERVIEW
Vesta Home Performance Retrofitting is seeking a driven, creative sales and marketing professional to take the company beyond our expectations. No experience in green building, remodeling, or energy efficiency is required, but a passion for the cause and enthusiasm for sales are crucial. WHAT IS HOME PERFORMANCE?
You may have seen a lot of articles cropping up recently about “home energy audits” and weatherization incentives. These are all just pieces of the larger home performance industry, which is dedicated to making residences as energy efficient as possible. The residential sector is responsible for more than 20% of all the energy use in the U.S. (on par with the transportation industry).
Our company is a one-stop shop: we evaluate a home’s needs, we provide a customized retrofit plan, and then we do the retrofit work. With a crew that has a background in green remodeling, along with specific training in building science, we can help any client achieve greater comfort in their home, better indoor air quality, and lower utility bills—while decreasing their carbon footprint.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Seeks and develops new prospects, converts prospects, and provides continuity when leads officially become projects.
2. Creates interest in home performance by scheduling and conducting site visits, tours, house parties, and trade show booths
3. Generates referrals from existing client base
4. Participates in community, professional organizations, representing and promoting the organization through community involvement
5. Achieves or exceeds established prospecting and revenue goals
6. Provides sales reports accurately and efficiently
7. Participates in defining the pricing, branding, and marketing communication of the company and services to consumers and stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
• 7+ years of senior level experience in sales and marketing, preferably for intangible services/products
• Proven success in sales and marketing to the general public consumer
• Familiarity with CRM software (ACT!, GoldMine, SalesForce or similar)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to write high-quality marketing content
