Response Capture, Inc. is seeking a .Net/Web Developer to work on the web application interface and underlying database that supports our software platform. This person will be responsible for updating and maintaining existing code, developing new features, and making enhancements to optimize performance.
This is initially a contract position. Increased compensation and fulltime opportunities exist as competency and performance are proven. Academic credit can be arranged for students.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience with client-side scripting experience using Javascript, advanced CSS, DHTML
- Strong understanding and experience with Web 2.0 technologies
- Experience delivering user-friendly applications
- Keen eye for web standards
- Experience using and developing custom AJAX scripts/libraries
- Proven experience with libraries like Prototype, Scriptaculous, Effects etc.
- Self-directed and passionate about emerging technologies
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Server-side technologies: ASP.NET
- Databases: SQL Server
- Blogging, RSS feeds
Responsibilities:
- Managing for production code and databases
- Track and manage source code
- Review and test code
- Track and fix bugs
- Make decisions on processes, coding practices and methodologies
- Communicate technical details of projects
- Provide estimates for milestones and target release dates on updates
- Collaborate with a Project Manager and Graphic Designer
This position presents an ideal opportunity for a Web Developer to grow their skills with a growth company.
Duration: 90 contract with full time placement possibility based on proven compentency and performance.
