Flex 3 UI Developer for CoreMD

CoreMD is looking for a talented and well-rounded RIA Flex Developer to join our San Francisco health and nutrition startup. You will be the third engineer on the team, building a social media-enabled game and charting application from top to bottom and back again.

Responsibilities:
• Design, build and deploy a health-related game using Flex 3.
• Collaborate with system architect and efficiently implement software specification.
• Use best practices in all aspects of code design, development, review and testing.

You must be able to iterate quickly, and integrate with Ruby on Rails server code. You must test your code as you go, building unit tests and testing through use-cases.

Experience Required
• Front-end web development with Flex 3, Flash, Actionscript 3.
• Building efficient, scaled, production Flex applications
• Integrating artwork for expressive web styles and cinematic user interaction.
• Using HtttpService and AMF3 protocol.
• Interacting with social APIs such as Twitter and Facebook Connect.

Experience with the following technologies:
• Flex 3
• Flash 10
• RemoteObject
• Cairngorm
• Subversion
• MySQL
• Linux/LAMP

Education:
• BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Experience Requirements:
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in production software development.
